Coed Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Bowling Qualifies For State


The Troy HS girls qualified for the Division I State Finals with a fourth place finish at the Southwest District Tournament.  The top five teams in the 24-team field qualified to advance to State.  The girls stayed above the cut all day, increasing their margin above the cut line each round.
Kayleigh McMullen and Jami Loy led the girls with 614 and 613 series respectively.  All seven Trojans bowled a least one game in a total team effort. Kaitlin Jackson especially gave the Trojans a huge lift by posting a season-high 234 in the third game.
After:
First game – 5th place, +25 over cut
Second game – 4th place, +49 over cut
Third game – 2nd place, +89 over cut
Final – 4th place
